What You’ll Receive
Wages: Earn $70–100 per event (based on service time).
Provided Tools: Full access to professional toolkits and equipment.
Lodging: Typically 3-4 nights (shared lodging).
Meals: ~9 meals covered (varies by event length).
Training: Skill-building in rally mechanics, communication, and safety.
Resume Building: Document your role for future opportunities.
Networking: Access to RRC’s community and industry connections.
What Does a Typical Rally Weekend Look Like?
Here’s a breakdown of our crew’s responsibilities
Pre-Event
Arrive 1 day before competition to:Assist with technical inspection and race prep.
Review the Movement Plan (logistics schedule).
During the Event
Race Day 1:Setup: Organize service area (15 minutes).
Service: Repairs, refueling, and checks (30 minutes – 1 hour each between stages).
Teardown: Pack tools/equipment (15 minutes).
Race Day 2: Repeat Day 1 structure.
Post-Event: Assist with final inspections and pack-up.
Typical Event Timeline
Day 1 (Arrival/Recce):
Crew preps car for tech inspection.
Drivers complete reconnaissance (recce).
Day 2 (Race Day 1):
Morning: Service setup.
Day: Timed stages + service intervals.
Evening: Service teardown.
Day 3 (Race Day 2):
Repeat Day 2 structure.
Day 4 (Departure):
Final pack-up and travel home.
What to Bring
Optional Tools: Personal tools (e.g., box-end wrenches, socket sets) are welcome but not required – we provide all essentials.
Essentials: Work gloves, closed-toe shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing.
Post-Event
Debrief with the team to improve future events.
